QUEST: The Elvin Quarter
On the edge of town, near the gardens, is the elvin quarter, where most of the elf folk live. Here there are many cunning elves, and the Guildmaster has asked you to convince them to make traps to set all over the place.
A character with a successful DC 20 Charisma (Persuasion) check can convince them to make 5 explosive mine traps. This drops to a DC 18 if asked by an elf character. If they are given some sort of elvin artifact (the elvin statuette in the Defeat of Thorge), it drops to a DC 15. If they are already acquainted with the elvin thief boy, he will also set three traps in the areas surrounding the elvin quarter. They will be crude tripwires connected to sensitive triggers that will send broken glass and nails into the chest of whomever triggers it.
